15 Countries which don't need a visa to come to China:
France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Brunei, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland.
The policy ends on 31 December 2025, for stays of up to 15 days.
23 countries that have mutual visa exemptions with China:
UAE, Albania, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dominica, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Maldives, Mauritius, Malaysia (short-term visa-free), Serbia, Seychelles, San Marino, Suriname, Tonga, Thailand, Singapore, Armenia, Georgia.
In order to further promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa-free countries and implement a trial visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and South Korea. From November 8, 2024 to December 31, 2025, ordinary passport holders from the above countries can enter China without a visa for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days. Those who do not meet the visa-free conditions still need to obtain a visa to China before entering the country.
